World Anatomy Day takes place annually on the 15th of October to honour Andreas Vesalius, who is considered the father of modern Anatomy. To celebrate World Anatomy Day 2025, the EFEM is hosting a video competition.
Participation is open to undergraduate and postgraduate students, as well as recent graduates, who have developed a project in anatomy or a morphological sciences discipline in the 2024/25 academic year. Participation involves presenting your project with a static slide and an oral explanation, similarly to the Three Minute Thesis (3MT) competition.
Submissions open on the 1st of September, and close on the 1st of October. The winner will be announced on the 15th of October on EFEM social media platforms and website.
