World Anatomy Day - Glasgow Anatomy Arts & Crafts Undergraduate Student Competition

Do you like arts and crafts? Do you like anatomy? Are you an undergrad student?

Then this is the competition for you! To mark the celebration of World Anatomy Day, we are launching an online anatomy arts and crafts competition open to all current undergraduate students, from around the world, who learnt or are learning about human anatomy not only limited to science or professional degrees.

Our theme is aligned with the International Federation of Association of Anatomists theme for this year, "Teaching Diversity in the Dissection Laboratory" (think how you can showcase the diversity of the human body), and we accept images of any original arts and crafts including, but not limited to, the following: visual art; sculpture; pottery; paper crafts; glass art; woodturning; textiles; weaving; embroidery; crochet; quilting.

Deadline: 15 October 2023 5:00pm UK time.

The top three winners will get an Amazon voucher and their work will be printed on canvas and showcased at the University of Glasgow Anatomy Museum.

All submitted work will also be showcased in a virtual exhibition hosted in this domain.
