Anatomical Society Summer Meeting 2026 – Musculoskeletal Anatomy

The Anatomical Society will host its 2026 Summer Meeting, themed around musculoskeletal anatomy, from 15 to 17 July 2026.

Hosted at the University of Bristol, the meeting will bring together researchers, educators, and clinicians to explore the full breadth of musculoskeletal anatomy. The programme will showcase research spanning basic and clinical anatomy, biomechanics, comparative and veterinary anatomy, palaeoanthropology, evolutionary morphology, and related fields. By highlighting musculoskeletal research from molecular mechanisms to whole-body function, and from living systems to fossil evidence, the meeting aims to encourage cross-disciplinary dialogue and foster new collaborations.

Pre-conference workshops include “A Hands-on Workshop and Resource Pack for Teaching Thoracic Ultrasound” and “Comparative Anatomy for Human Anatomists”. The Cave Young Investigator Prize will be awarded for the best poster presentation by an early-career researcher.

Abstract submission closes on 1 June 2026, and registration closes on 29 June 2026.
