The XXIX International Symposium on Morphological Sciences (ISMS 2025) is taking place in a few weeks in Lisbon, Portugal. It will start on July 23 and for 4 days researchers around the world will present their works focused of morphologically related fields of the Science.
EFEM will participate in this international meeting, holding a symposium on July 24th. Our members of EFEM Fabio Quandamatteo, Friedrich Paulsen, and Elisabeth Eppler, will chair the works presented by young anatomists that won previous student symposiums organized by EFEM. Alexandra Britto will moderate the Q&A session.
Marcos González López was awarded at the Symposium organized at Varna in 2024 and just finished his PhD. It will talk about his research on tooth development. Elizabeth Sainsbury is a postdoc, she was awarded at the symposium organized in 2023, and she will introduce us to her work regarding tissue engineering for regenerative medicine applications. And Cian O'Connor is also a postdoctoral researcher, awarded in 2022, and will talk about advances in cell culture for spinal cord-related medicine.
