Results of the competiton at the student’s symposium on September 2nd, 2025

18 presenters representing 10 societies (Anatomical Society, Bulgarian Anatomical Society, Czech Anatomical Society, Italian Society for Anatomy and Histology, Romanian Anatomical Society, Spanish Anatomical Society, Portuguese Anatomical Society, Dutch Anatomical Society, Anatomische Gesellschaft, Swiss Society for Anatomy Histology and Embryology) plus 3 presenters representing the University of Salamanca presented the results of their researches.

The winners were:

Category A

1st prize: Paulina Rion (second left) and Sophia Lisovaya (second right), both Anatomische Gesellschaft, flanked by EFEM's president Fabio Quondamatteo (left) and Dr. Marta Carretero (right).
2nd prize: Cristina Pérez Montes from the University of Salamanca with Prof. Fabio Quondamattero and the member of the meeting committee, Marta Carretero.

Category B

1st prize: In the center, Lauren Barrett from the Anatomical Society, and Andra-Ioana Baloiu from Romanian Anatomical Society. Both received the award from Prof. Fabio Quondamatteo and Dr. Marta Carretero.
2nd prize: Stephanie Friedmann (Bulgarian Anatomical Society), Mariana Pereira dos Santos (Portuguese Anatomical Society), Fabrizio Petrocchi (Italian Society for Anatomy and Histology), and Ioan-Andrei Petrescu (Romanian Anatomical Society) received the award from our president Prof. Fabio Quondamatteo and Dr. Marta Carretero.

Best Image Award:

2nd prize: David Díez Castro from the University of Salamanca received the award from Prof. Fabio Quondamatteo and Dr. Marta Carretero.
