As part of the XII International Symposium of Clinical Anatomy EFEM organized the European Student Symposium on Anatomical Research. Several students across Europe present their anatomical-based works and could exchange views about Anatomy teaching and research. Young people from Bulgaria, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Serbia, Spain, Switzerland, Portugal, and UK.
Our president, Fabio Quondamatteo gave the awards to the best presentations clasified in several categories.
First, EFEM gave two prizes for the best images presented.
Best image 1st place Franka Lenzing (Hungarian Anatomical Society)
Best image 2nd place Ivan Tsvetanov Ivanov (University of Varna)
There were two categories regarding the presentations of the reseach works made by the students.
Category A won by Marcos Gonzalez Lopez (Czech Anatomical Society)
Category A runner up shared between Ana Rita da Costa Garcia (Sociedade Anatómica Portuguesa) and Grischa Ott (Swiss Society for Anatomy Histology and Embryology)
Category B winner was Maya Stelzer (Dutch Anatomical Society).
Category B 2nd place for Carolina Adelaide Major Rodrigues (Sociedade Anatómica Portuguesa)
